Suppliers tip #3 - NON CONFORMING TENDERS
In recent months, three Geraldton companies have submitted "non-conforming" tenders. They were "non-conforming" because they didn't answer some fairly simple questions put to them about their company and their product/service to give the evaluation panel enough information to consider their bid, so they miss out! |

Buyers Tip #3 - TRAINING
Training courses that government employees attend include OHS, management, IT and working in organisations. Considerable time and money is spent sending people to Perth to receive this training. With a more co-ordinated approach across agencies, a lot of this could be delivered locally, saving travel and other costs and ensure training is more relevant to local needs. Come to the next Local Client Council meeting and find out more. |

Suppliers Tip # 1
Government quotes and tenders usually have "selection criteria" - compliance and qualitative. Make sure you address them - don't leave it blank or it can't be assessed. A recent tender received from a local Geraldton business had to be disregarded because of this. If unsure, contact us. |
